When Friends of Casco Bay was in need of a new Casco Baykeeper vessel, many of you answered the call and made a generous donation to our Baykeeper Boats Fund.

THANK YOU.

Thanks to our donors to the Baykeeper Boats Fund Campaign, we bought and retrofitted a Maine-built, lobster-style boat that we will use to patrol the Bay, investigate pollution, and conduct research.

Our new Baykeeper Boat is an AJ28 made by Alan Johnson in Winter Harbor, Maine. The boat has been retrofitted by Yankee Marina & Boatyard and New England Fiberglass to include special attributes that will enhance our work.
